Summer 7's update and Social Distancing requests

Glad to report that hockey is going well since we restarted and attitudes and COVID rules being followed.

The biggest ask is around social distancing and use of the entrances. Please can we ask that players only use the gates for the end of the pitch you are playing on. We need to ask that gates and fence around the gates are kept clear to allow free flow of socially distanced players.

Spectators are not currently allowed other than for safeguarding of U18's. You are able to visit the bar area and use seating provided. Once your session has ended please either leave the ground or go to the bar area!

Linked to all of this is to ensure that your availability is updated on Pitchero to allow Track and Trace reporting. It is also necessary that players do not swap teams or groups unless approved to ensure we maintain COVID bubbles.

It is also clear that the availability of some players is less than originally anticipated which is not a problem as such but in addition we are there are some new players and this can be helpful in balancing the teams and ensuring competitive hockey. The club therefore requires that any new players contact Gill Stringer . The Club will try to place new players with other people they know but cant be guaranteed given the need to maintain balanced teams.

Many thanks to you all
