Hello everyone!
I'm Jenni Colebrook, and I'm delighted to be taking on the role of Club Welfare Officer.
For over 20 years I've worked in primary education and am currently a Deputy Headteacher at a local primary school. Looking after children, supporting families and helping people feel safe and valued has been at the heart of my career, so stepping into this role feels like a natural fit.
Away from school, you'll usually find me on the sidelines cheering on my three sons, who all play for the club. As a hockey parent myself, I understand the joys, challenges and occasional wet weekends that come with being part of a sports club community!
I'm passionate about supporting people and helping to ensure that our club remains a safe, welcoming and inclusive place for everyone. Whether you have a concern about a player, a volunteer, a member of the wider club community, or simply need some advice, please don't hesitate to come and speak to me. No concern is too small, and I'd much rather have a conversation than have someone worrying in silence.
Please feel free to stop me for a chat if you see me around the club. Together, we can help make sure hockey remains fun, positive and safe for everyone.
I look forward to meeting you all!
Jenni Colebrook
