Braintree Hockey Club is delighted to announce the donation of a life-saving defibrillator by RA-LPHH, which will be available for use at the Club's ground.

The generous donation was formally presented by Richard Allen to Club President Ann Whipps and Chairman David Malthouse.

The new defibrillator is an important addition to the Club's facilities and will provide an additional level of safety and reassurance for players, coaches, officials, volunteers and spectators attending matches and events at the ground.

On behalf of everyone at Braintree Hockey Club, President Ann Whipps and Chairman David Malthouse would like to express their sincere thanks to Richard Allen and everyone at RA-LPHH for their generosity and support.

A defibrillator can be a vital piece of equipment in the event of a cardiac emergency, and having one readily available at the Club is something that will benefit the user community
