Junior 2019 season information

JUNIOR PRE-SEASON TRAINING – SUNDAY 1st SEPTEMBER 2019 9-11.30a.m.
JUNIOR REGISTRATION DAY 2019 – SUNDAY 8th SEPTEMBER 9-12pm

At Felsted School, Stebbing Road, CM6 3LL

The season will start this term on 1st SEPTEMBER at Felsted with a pre-season training for all including new members. The sessions will be mixed gender with the u8’s and u10’s from 9-10, and the u12 and u14/16 from 10.11.30. Do come along and blow away the cobwebs!

On 7th September there is a whole club day at Braintree from 10am available to all for rush / fun hockey depending on numbers and ages. See website and Facebook for full details and watch out for newsletter updates
The following Sunday 8th September will be JUNIOR REGISTRATION DAY from 9am-12pm at Felsted. With Pitchero now live please make sure you have registered on this new platform; all previous details should have been migrated but with the best will in the world some information may have gone astray and indeed you may need to update. At registration we will be checking that this has been completed before you go down to your session to train. You are not insured it you are not registered so this is crucial. If you haven’t done this yet there is information on the website about how to register and details in The Hornet edition 123.

TRAINING – times for REGISTRATION DAY ONLY
A shortened programme of training will happen on this Sunday as below:
9-10am U8’s (Bottom Astro)
9-10am U10’s Boys and Girls (Top Astro)
10-11am U12 Girls (Top Astro)
10-11am U12 Boys (Bottom Astro)
11-12.30pm U14 Girls (Bottom Astro)
11-12.30pm U14 Boys (Top Astro)

Please make sure your son/daughter has a stick (can be borrowed for U8’s), shin pads (all players) and gum shield (mandatory for U10’s upwards).

OUT THERE SPORTS
Will have a shop on site all morning on 8th September selling sticks, kit, shoes, gloves etc.

If you can’t wait to get back in the shin pads you can join the Rush Hockey session at Braintree on Thursday evening 6.30 to 8.30 p.m., Bob Freeman would be delighted to see you. Its mixed gender and ages just like the end of season day we held at Felsted.
